Hi, First post words here on this forum.  I think this forum is great and I hope to become a steady member and student of all things disscussed here.  I have one question.  I think I'll be going with mimosa but I was a bit curious on the syrian rue.  I noticed on BBB that seeds are the only thing available.  If I were interested in mixing a brew with syrian rue would I need to put something grown from the syrian rue after grinding this or would I grind the seeds themselves and mix them.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Someone told me how to make it in the Ayahausca recipe forum. Just grind the seeds. Why don't you try ayahausca it is so much better?

I figured I would try the Mimosa, Syrian Rue combo first then graduate myself to B. Cappi, chacruna, and chaliponga. I decided to buy the 56 grams of mimosa and 28 grams of the syrian rue seeds.  I'm re reading the psychedelic experience so I know how to handle the experience with peace and maturity.  It always helped on my lsd and mushroom trips.  I was wondering.  I heard someone say they brewed 14 g of mimosa and 3g of rue, juice of two lemons some water and reduced down to 250ml.  would you mix the two brews then reduce to 250ml or each brew 250ml?  Any help would be great.

Orion11 - welcome to the forums!  You will find kind, helpful, and honest people on this forum.  If you start from the beginning (of the ayahuasca forum) you will find several preparation techniques and tips (in the least likely of places!).  The posts of Quantum and Serpent Bliss were very helpful to me.  Read about the ayahuasca and the analogs that you are thinking about - research will be of great benefit.  One word of advice, do not underestimate the power of aya or an analog.  It is not anything like LSD or even mushrooms.  Far more powerful, honest, and medicinal.  Good luck on your journey.  Let us know how it goes.  Peace.

Hey everyone, i have this recipe and want to know if its effective (without fasting for 3 days) and safe. im new to Ayahuasca and this recipe looks promising. should i do like he did but without fasting?

Swim had his first Ayahuasca experience last night. 3-4 grams rue and 15 grams of powdered Mimosa were used.

Swim fasted for 3 days before following the MAO-I diet restrictions. He also took kratom about 6 hours before the ayahuasca brew to put him in a nice mood

Swim used a blender to powder and capped his Syrian rue 3-4 grams were used.

Next he used 1 organic lemon and 1 gram of vit C powder with 15 grams of powdered Mimosa in 300ml of water in a shaker and mixed every 5 minutes for 30 minutes, then lightly boiled for 20 minutes. Filtered the liquid and repeated this step with the remaining powder.

Swim had the rue then waited 15-20 minutes to drink the mimosa (he never boiled it down just put up with the taste)

adubeasy - Some pointers I have taken from wiser people than me on this forum:  Do not ever use more than 3 grams of rue - it will only make you sick.  It may be wise to 'work up' to the desired level of mimosa.  I do not have any idea what Kratom would do before the dream.  I am usually incredibly lethargic to begin with - anything that would effect my opiate receptors would not be of benefit to me.  I have never used vit C powder.  I always use distilled water.  Look at the posts on this forum - especially the getting started thread.  Like I have said above the posts of Quantum have been invaluable!  Good luck in your journey.  Peace.

I am really glad that he is still alive.  We need people like him in this world.
